Cyber Social Hub has a redesigned site and membership area. Here is what changed, how the free Community membership compares with the Digital Investigators Guild, and how to set up your new account in a few minutes.

If you work in digital forensics, OSINT or cyber investigations, you already know the hard part isn't only the casework. It's keeping up. Operating systems update, extraction methods change, new apps appear in your evidence, and AI tools arrive faster than anyone can evaluate them. On top of that, many investigators have training hours or CPE requirements to meet, and little time to find quality sessions that fit a working schedule.

Cyber Social Hub was built to make that easier: one place to learn from practitioners, spot trends early, and stay connected with more than 6,200 professionals in law enforcement, government, military and the private sector. We've now rebuilt the site and the membership area from the ground up, and this article walks through what's new, how the two membership levels compare, and how to get your account set up.

What changed on the new site

The redesign focuses on getting you to useful material faster. Articles, industry news, webinars and events are easier to browse, the specialized interest groups are easier to find, and your membership, registrations and profile now live in one account. Most of all, the site is organized around the way investigators actually use it: to learn something new, see what peers are discussing, and register for the next session worth their time.

Two ways to be a member

There are two membership levels. Start with the free Community membership, and move up to the Digital Investigators Guild when you want CPE credit and deeper peer access.

Community Member: free

  • Community forums and discussions
  • Articles and industry news
  • Live webinars and events
  • Webinar replays for any session you register for
  • Specialized interest groups
  • Networking with 6,200+ professionals
  • Mobile app

Digital Investigators Guild: $99 per year

  • Everything in Community
  • CPE credit: 1 CPE per hour of webinar attended (Guild members only)
  • Private Guild groups and roundtables
  • Exclusive vendor and training discounts
  • Guild membership card
  • Live trivia with prizes
  • CSH Virtual
  • Instant Level 3 or higher in the Hub

Agencies and organizations that need to pay by invoice or purchase order can request one instead.

Who the Guild is for

The Community level gives you the core of CSH: the content, the live sessions, replays of what you register for, and the groups. The Guild is aimed at working professionals who want their training time to count. If you attend webinars regularly and track CPE, the Guild turns those hours into credit. It also gives you a smaller, private setting to talk through methods and tools with experienced peers in Guild groups and roundtables.

How to set up your account

If you were already a member

  1. Look for an email from Cyber Social Hub titled "Set up your new account." We are sending these in batches, so yours may arrive over the coming days.
  2. Open the email and follow the link to set your password on the new site.
  3. Check your profile and membership level, and update your interests so the right groups and sessions surface for you.

If you are new to CSH

  1. Go to the join page.
  2. Choose Community (free) or the Digital Investigators Guild.
  3. Create your account, then register for an upcoming webinar to get started.

Upcoming sessions to start with

  • November 5, 2:00 PM ET: From Backlog to Breakthrough: Using Responsible AI to Review Digital Evidence Faster, with Cellebrite
  • November 19: PFIC 2026 Fall Session

Register for any of them as a Community member. If you are in the Guild, live webinar attendance earns CPE credit.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Community membership really free?

Yes. Community membership costs nothing and includes forums, articles, live webinars, interest groups, networking and the mobile app.

Can I watch a webinar if I miss it live?

Yes. Replays are available to any registered member, free or Guild, as long as you register for the session. Register even if you aren't sure you can attend.

How does CPE credit work?

Guild members earn 1 CPE per hour of webinar attended. CPE credit is a Guild benefit and is not included with the free Community membership.

I was a member before. Do I need to sign up again?

No. Use the link in your "Set up your new account" email to activate your account on the new site.

Can my agency pay for my Guild membership?

Yes. Agencies can request an invoice or purchase order for Guild memberships.
