MSAB, a leader in mobile forensics, is proud to announce its latest release, packed with powerful new features and significant updates designed to enhance digital investigations for law enforcement and government agencies worldwide.

The new versions of XRY, XAMN, and XEC from MSAB will elevate your mobile data extraction capabilities, simplify digital evidence analysis, and enhance your reporting efficiency.

What’s new in XRY?

Mobile data extraction and decoding just got a major boost with the arrival of XRY 10.9. These are just some of the ways in which XRY 10.9 will give you an edge in your investigations.

  • Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology enables you to extract text from images or scanned documents, which can contain valuable information related to a case. Once text is extracted, it becomes searchable in XAMN. You can find keywords, names, locations, or any other relevant information pertaining to your investigation much more efficiently.
  • The extraction of RAM in digital forensics is very significant as it can reveal historic and live data including passwords, Wi-Fi connections, and messages, all visible in plain text. This was once considered nearly impossible in mobile forensics. Not anymore. Not with XRY. Knowing from what devices you can extract RAM is vital. So, we’ve added a new filter in XRY where you can find all device profiles with support for RAM extractions. A goldmine of data right at your fingertips.
  • Apple iOS 17.4.1 is out, but XRY has you covered for that. We offer full support for iOS 17.4.1 with the latest release. Moreover, in iOS forensic news – here at MSAB we are finding that as of iOS 17.4, we are now decoding more deleted data than ever before from iTunes backups. Read more about the benefits you can reap from the iOS 17.4 update using XRY.

What’s new in XRY Pro?

XRY Pro just keeps getting more powerful. It comes with improved support for Samsung Qualcomm S22, S23, Z Flip4, and Flip5, and Z Fold4 5G, and Z Fold5.

What’s new in XAMN 7.9?

XAMN is a powerful, intuitive tool that lets you find and analyze mobile data with greater efficiency. And with this new release, MSAB are building on that high functionality and taking it one step further.

  • For those handling cases involving multiple languages, this latest release introduces a new feature that will greatly enhance your workflow: Language Detection. With this new smart processing tool, you can quickly discover what languages are contained within your extractions. By automatically detecting the languages from devices under investigations, this tool will speed up your case work.
  • The revamped Column View in XAMN 7.9 guarantees a more intuitive and efficient user experience. It is highly customizable and allows you to work through artifacts with ease, significantly streamlining your investigations.
  • The golden rule in digital forensics is that validation is at the heart of successful investigations. With XAMN 7.9, not only can you easily identify the exact details of where data is parsed from within the SQLite database, but you can directly navigate to it. This upgrade makes it much faster to validate the source of a value

What’s new in XEC 7.9 and KTE?

XEC Director 7.9 allows you to manage your mobile forensics efforts more effectively and ensure greater productivity across your organization. At the same time, the new versions of the Kiosk, Tablet and Express from MSAB bring improved frontline functionality.

From introducing a User Competency Report to making the process of uploading extracted evidence faster and more efficient, you’ll discover that the new versions of the MSAB management and frontline solutions are a game changer.
